FAQs
-
This depends on the vehicle manufacturer (some paint is more chip prone than others), expected usage, value and a few other factors! During our free vehicle inspection as a part of our quote process, well ask you these types of questions to help recommend the best solution for your specific situation.
-
The short answer is no. PPF, when it first became available, was very noticeable. Over the years, manufacturers and installers have gotten better at minimizing visibility. No matter the film or installer, if you look closely, you will always be able to find film edges, some dust particles under the film and seams in any high tension areas. When looking from 6-10 feet back, PPF is very difficult if not impossible to detect. However, If you look closely, you will be able to see the film! If you want a completely invisible option, consider a ceramic coating instead.

Installation of PPF will range but for a quality installer, expect to spend about $2500 for coverage of the front end of your vehicle (hood, fenders, front bumper and mirrors). Full body coverage will range between $5k all the way up to $10k.
